About the RFP(s)
Welcome
This website was developed to support the RFP administration process for 3rd party energy efficiency implementation contractors to support the Consumers Energy 2009-2011 Energy Optimization Portfolio, with a possible contract extension through 2014.
This website will serve as the central source for information about the RFPs and contractor Q&As. It is the bidder's responsibility to check this website for updates, due dates, and changes to the RFP administration process.
Consumers Energy is issuing five RFPs:
- RFP #1: Business Solutions Program,
- RFP #2: Residential Efficient Products Program,
- RFP #3: Residential Comprehensive Homes Program,
- RFP #4: Residential Appliance Recycling Program,
- RFP #5: Grades 4-6 Energy Education Program.
Contractors may respond to one, multiple, or all of the RFPs.
